Before Friday’s IPL 2024 match against Bengaluru, which is scheduled on March 29, the team’s co-owner Shahrukh Khan and coach Gautam Gambhir of Kolkata tweeted a unique photo. The heartwarming photograph portrayed all with smiles on their faces, even Gautam Gambhir’s spouse, Natasha Gambhir.
The squad coach for Kolkata annotated the photo with the phrase “Some bonds are forever,” emphasizing the ongoing affinity he has with Shahrukh. After serving as a mentor for the Lucknow Super Giants for two years, Gambhir rejoined the team in a new role as their mentor.
Gautam Gambhir Captainship in KKR:
When the IPL first began, Gambhir was a player for the Delhi Daredevils, while Saurav Ganguly was the captain of KKR. Initially, both teams had difficulties. However, after winning a huge auction, Gambhir was eventually selected to captain KKR.
