The company’s search engine, Microsoft Bing Search, is not available to many people. Numerous users are complaining that they cannot find information on the internet using the search engine.

The GPT-4 driven AI chatbot Microsoft Bing Copilot appears to be impacted by the problem as well. Users have reported the problem, nevertheless. Downdetector.com adds that reports on the outage appear to have been made a few hours ago. However, Microsoft Bing has not explained the current outage affecting its AI chatbot and search engine, and it is still unclear when and if the services will be restored.
When attempting to access Bing.com, some users encounter an error or a webpage with the Bing search bar coloured grey, while others receive a notice stating that “Bing isn’t available right now, but everything should be back to normal very soon.” However, for some users, Copilot appears to be stuck on the “Loading” screen, followed by an error notice that reads, “We’re sorry, but we’re not able to connect to the service at this time.”
The DALL-E-powered Bing Image Creator tool appears to be impacted by the service outage as well, displaying the same error notice that appears when you try to access Bing Search. These kinds of outages also demonstrate why it isn’t optimal for one entity to be in charge of so many different applications, particularly when the trigger effect causes all of the services to crash at once for no apparent reason.
