After its March 26 introduction in China, Vivo may soon bring its foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 3, to India. This smartphone, which is said to be the thinnest foldable phone ever, is driven by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The OnePlus Open and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 are the two well-known foldable smartphones now available in India. Seeing how Vivo, which is already well-known for producing phones with huge cameras, compares to these significant competitors would be interesting to observe.

The 12GB/256GB variant of the Vivo x fold 3 Price In India starts at CNY 7,000, which is equivalent to $970/€895/₹80,800. 16GB/512GB for CNY 8,000, 16GB/256GB for CNY 7,500, and 16 GB/1 TB for CNY 9,000 are further options. Starting at CNY 10,000, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is a 16GB/512GB phone that costs $1,385 (€1,275) or ₹117,00. In China, the top-of-the-line 16GB/1TB model costs CNY 11,000. The phones will begin arriving by the end of the month and are now available on Vivo’s Chinese shop. There is currently no information available regarding global availability.

Display:
The phones each have the same set of displays. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2,480 x 2,200 pixels, the inner panel measures 8.03″ diagonally. With the Samsung E7 material, a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits may be attained. With a resolution of 1,172 x 2,748 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the 6.53-inch cover display employs Q9 Plus content and can reach 4,500 nits. That is more than twice as bright as the top-performing X Fold2 screens, which had 1,800 and 1,600 nits, respectively.
Camera:
This time, the primary camera consists of an f/1.75 lens with OIS and a 50MP 1/1.49″ Sony sensor (an IMX920). Additionally, there is a 50MP ultra-wide (the same JN1 with a 119° f/1.85 lens) and a 50MP 50mm portrait camera (1/2.93″ IMX816, f/1.85). These 32MP cameras are also used for selfies.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro’s internal CPU is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, whereas the normal model utilizes an older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
RAM & Inbuilt Memory:
Similar to the X Fold2, the vanilla X Fold3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Its configuration options range from 12GB/256GB to 16GB/1TB (UFS 4.0, LPDDR5X). The V3 imaging chip is absent from this variation.
Battery:
Another notable feature of the Pro variant is its massive 5,700mAh battery, which is 900mAh more than the X Fold2 battery. The 5,500mAh battery of the standard X Fold3 is somewhat smaller than that of the Pro, which likely contributes to its weight reduction.
The Pro battery comes with pro charging of 50W wireless and 100W wired, whereas its sister offers 80W wired-only charging.
